The Laboratory of Cross-Cultural History of Literature is part of HSE Centre for Fundamental Studies.

The laboratory is currently working on the project entitled Intellectual History and Comparative History of Literature.

In 2021 the participants focus on the concept of intellectual history in its comparative prospective.  Different ways of the perception of political texts, the contexts in which political texts appear and the relations between those contexts are the topics the participants get interested in. Political discourse is researched in comparison with literary and historisophical ones: the accent is mainly on their mutual influence, interference and interaction.
